President's Greeting

President's Message
Welcome to the Dickerson-Green Theological Seminary. In its present form, the Seminary represents the wisdom and vision of two inspired Bishops of the AME Church and the hard work and dedication of many. The long-lasting ties and symbiotic relationship between the academy and the church in this incarnation date back to 1880 and provide a sterling example of the efficacy of faith and works.
We are building a world-class experience in terms of faculty, facilities, and technology. The curriculum for the Master of Divinity degree is ecumenical and designed to allow graduates to pursue a life of the mind and a life of the spirit in individual ways. While intended primarily for degree seekers, the nature of our offerings can facilitate the deepening and widening of the knowledge of Christian history, theology, practice, and influence for the occasional student.
Come join or visit us.
